Brookhuis timber strength grading machines. A faster, more reliable and cheaper way to determine the strength class of wood is now available!
The demand for wood with high strength values that has been graded in a controlled manner is on the increase. After all, to use wood safely and reliably in constructions, each part has to be assessed for its load-bearing capacity. for that reason Brookhuis developed two machine strength grading systems, the Timber Grader MTG and the mtgBATCH.

Timber Grader MTG - Handheld machine grading
For small productions and more automatic solutions, the mtgBATCH system is developed.
mtgBATCH - fully automatic machine grading
The MTG and mtgBATCH are wireless connected to a PC on which the Timber Grader software is installed. The systems can have both softwood and hardwood settings for predicting the stiffness (MoE) in N/mm² and strength class according or approved to International Standards. In this respect the Brookhuis Timber Grader MTG system can be used for CE marking according to the EN14081 standard as well.
