mtgBATCH
The ‘mtgBATCH' is based on the tried and tested Timber Grader MTG that Brookhuis has been using for years and on the approved settings for CE marking.
The collaboration between H.I.T. and Brookhuis has now created the right conditions for integrating the MTG hand-held unit and the Timber Grader Software in an automated unit. Additions for determining density and non-contact wood moisture measuring for highest yield are optionally available. In this unit, Brookhuis' knowhow in the field of measurement technology and H.I.T.'s experience with the integration of such systems in automated units complement each other perfectly.
The mtgBATCH system consits of the handheld MTG device which is build into the sorting line. With H.I.T. from Ettringen in Germany, a turn-key solution of a fully automatic stresss grading system can be supplied. Ingenieursbureau Evan Buytendijk from Apeldoorn in the Netherlands can provide independant advice, support in building up an internal quality assurance system, supervision for CE marking, training courses for strength grading, internal audits for ISO quality assurance system, batch inspections, etc. Beside strength grading measurement technology Brookhuis also manufacturers handheld and in-line wood moisture meters.
The result is a system that gives small and medium-sized sawmills as well as wood processors the opportunity to obtain CE marking by machine strength grading.
