A pallet pool is an asset base in continuous circulation — through depots, customers, cold chain environments, outdoor staging areas, and return streams spread across multiple countries and climate zones. Every stage of that journey exposes pallets to moisture conditions that differ from those at the point of manufacture. Some of that exposure is unavoidable. What is not unavoidable is the inability to measure, track, and act on moisture-related quality variation before it drives up repair costs, shortens asset life, and creates acceptance disputes at the depot gate.
